Youth In Transition (YIT) is a non-profit, 501c3 agency designed to serve Albuquerque's most needy and homeless youth, aged 14-24. We provide case-management, crisis-intervention, and advocacy services during the week. We are seeking donations of tarps, sleeping bags, blankets, coats, and socks, primarily for our young people who often sleep outside. We are always in need of food, perishable and non-perishable. We serve/feed between 35-40 (sometimes up to 50) young people on the nights we are open. We are working with 14 families with children (ages newborn-eight years). These families are in need of diapers, infant formula, toys, and food boxes.
