Pax Christi New Mexico	ThePax Christi New Mexico is the organized arm of the Catholic peace movement in New Mexico. We are a region of the national group known as Pax Christi USA, which is a section of Pax Christi International. This movement started after WWII when the French and German Catholics got together to focus on reconcilliation and the hope that in the future, our mutual faith in Christ the Peacemaker should have precedence over any allegiance to ANY human government. Pax Christi New Mexico organizes a large demonstration annually at Los Alamos in order to call for an end to weapons of mass destruction and justice for the poor.
