Albuquerque War Tax Alternative Fund (AWTAF)
The Albuquerque War Tax Alternative Fund (AWTAF) is a local affinity group which maintains a display on war tax resistance at the Peace Center; offers support and information to people interested in exploring and/or implementing war tax resistance strategies; shares materials and publications; meets as necessary to plan actions around tax resistance. Visit http://www.hanguponwar.org to learn how to participate in the nationwide campaign for phone tax resistance. There is also an actual escrow fund for refused taxes. Interest on the fund is redirected to peaceful causes.
