Come Join in an introduction to Nonviolent Communication
Wednesday, June 25, 7pm at the Peace Center

(This introduction to NVC is free)

"If we want to change the world and create peace, we can begin by creating peace within ourselves. If we practice peace we can teach the rest of the world."
Dalai Lama

Peaceful or Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a powerful process for inspiring compassionate connection and action that helps prevent and resolve conflicts at personal, professional, and political levels. The process helps to remove violence from our hearts and minds so that we may fully and honestly express ourselves without any blame or criticism and to connect with others, without hearing blame or criticism, even when others express themselves with anger or fear. Developed by Marshall Rosenberg.

Learn to use Peaceful/ Nonviolent Communication to:
  • enjoy relationships based on mutual respect, compassion, and cooperation
  • free yourself from the effects of past experiences and cultural conditioning
  • break patterns of thinking that lead to arguments, anger, pain and depression
  • resolve conflicts peacefully and
  • create and transform social structures to value everyone's needs being met.

Peter Neils will facilitate.
