May 2008 Newsletter Contents Training in Facilitation Skills Membership Application	Training in Facilitation Skills The Peace Center offers a two-part training for all involved in peace & justice work. Facilitation is a critical element in leading meetings as we organize and teach others about the important issues of our times. This training provides discussion and practice of skills needed to maintain focus, encourage input, resolve differences, and help set clear goals. Led by Valerie Isenhower and Judith Todd of Water in the Desert Ministries. Section 1: Saturday, May 31, 9am to 1 pm Section 2: Saturday, June 14, 9am to 1 pm At the Peace Center Requested donation of $35 includes both sections (sliding scale available).
