Help Sally-Alice to Get the MOP!

Turning 91 on the second day of her walk from Albuquerque to Santa Fe beginning Monday, October 13, 8am at the Peace Center, Sally-Alice Thompson will join Rhana Bazzini (hiking 333 miles from Sarasota to Tallahassee) to embrace the spirit of the late campaign-finance reform activist Doris Haddock (Granny D), who gained fame by walking across the U.S. in 1999 in an effort to amend the Constitution and get the Money Out of Politics. Sally will host a breakfast at 9am at the Convention Center before continuing 4 miles north on 4 th Street. She plans on walking six miles per day ending at the Roundhouse on Oct. 25.

Let's ALL join Sally's effort to get the Money Out of Politics! If you or your group would like to join Sally on any leg of her walk or would like to contribute food, water, lodging or publicity, please contact the Peace Center, This email address is being protected from spambots.
