Mission/Purpose: 

The Japanese American Citizens League is the nation’s largest and oldest Asian Pacific American civil rights organization with over 100 chapters nationwide, of which NMJACL is a chapter, and strives to promote a world that honors diversity by respecting the values of fairness, equality, and social justice. The mission is also to secure and maintain the civil rights of Japanese Americans and all others who are victimized by injustice and bigotry. The organization also works to promote cultural, educational, and social values, and to preserve the heritage and legacy of the Japanese American community.

 Regular Meeting Time: 

 No set date/time, but rather, on an as-needed basis, usually 5-7 times a year for the general membership. Executive Board of Directors meet monthly.

 Membership level:

 ($60/$120)  [PAJOLA - $120].  NMJACL membership ranges from $15/yr. for individual, $25/yr. for family, to 1-time only Life Time membership of $125/yr. for individual, or $175/yr. for a family.
